Here’s The Deal:
The Werakata National Park is a preserved national park that is located in the Lower Hunter Region of New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The 3,337-hectare national park is located to the north, east and south of the town of Cessnock. The national park extends within the Hunter Valley Important Bird Area. The Werakata National Park is perfect for birdwatching, home to native animals and has spectacular wildflowers in the spring. The park provides riding trails, and highlights are beautiful picnic areas. It has recorded more than 200 different types of animals in National Park and the surrounding State Conservation Area.
