Specialty:
“Mittagong Anglican Church was started with ministry in the neighbourhood during the 1850s. A piece of land was granted, and a church building was constructed in the middle of town to help the people with religious assistance. Mittagong Anglican Church is built with sandstone, which Edmund Blackett designed. Over the years, the church has undergone multiple renovations and expansions due to the growing population that regularly attends. In 1928, the church was enlarged by a third to reach its present size. During this time, Mittagong remained a small township where everyone understood everyone else. The church has a record dating back more than a century, where Christians have gathered in Mittagong to praise, share, read and encourage each other. Mittagong Anglican Church also provides a warm and inviting ambience, resulting in around three hundred people attending the service each Sunday.
