I like eating love trying new flavours can't resist a bargain I enjoy the way the food is presented the colours the aromas sometimes I don't know where to start or when to stop it's not just dining it's a mini adventure I try to eat there at least once a week.

Very impressed. Gladstone isn't known as a town that offers many culinary delights, so it was a pleasant surprise to find this Sushi train style restaurant tucked away at the edge of the Gladstone Valley Shopping Centre. Although it was almost full when we arrived, our party of 4 were seated straight away. Ordering is done via a tablet terminal. Food and drinks arrived quickly, and in the right order (entre first, followed by mains). Excellent quality sushi, sashimi, and cooked dishes. We will definitely dine here again. Recommended.

Lovely decor and good customer service. A great variety of sushi available as well as some delicious Japanese beer. We are very glad we found this little gem in Gladstone. If you love sushi, you will love Sushi Hyo.

Visiting family in Gladstone from Tassie and wanted something "different" for dinner. Was taken to Ichi Maki at the Gladstone West shopping complex. Great little hole in the wall joint. Quite a varied menu and competitive prices. Went with a Hot Box and wasn't disappointed. Just enough heat to keep it interesting and a big enough serving to satisfy a big lad like myself. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a change from the usual takeaway joints, whether you're a local or a visitor like me.

Was really good sushi. They made us an extra tray because we could see one we liked 100%. Customer service was quite nice. The rice was a little sweet, though. All in all really good meal.

I don't usually write reviews unless very impressed and a good review is due, or I'm immensely dissatisfied and people need to know. However the store Ichi Maki at Stocklands in Gladstone is truly worth your while. Their food is amazing. Tasty fresh and reseasonably priced. I look forward to my lunch because I'll get something from there.

The only thing better than the sushi rolls is the service - Lauren and Joyce brighten up my day every time I walk in to eat. thank you ladies.

Ichimaki (Valley Shop) has been our go-to place for sushi and bento cravings. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable about the food and provided fantastic suggestions - excellent service.
