3 Best Steakhouses in Wollongong NSW

Had a lovely meal at the Outback Steakhouse. Our waiter was just lovely and the food was delicious. Every member of my family of 6 was so impressed. Cheeseburger spring rolls and squid were so yum and the side of beef ribs were amazing. Overall I’d say you have 1 (or should I say 6) happy customer.

I had an exceptional experience at this steakhouse. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff. The food was incredible, with each dish cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Additionally, the ambiance of the place was delightful and added to the overall experience. Highly recommend this steakhouse for a superb dining experience. 5/5.

I came here for my friend’s birthday dinner and it was excellent! We were hosted by Riley and Hadeel and they were so kind and welcoming to us. Because it was my friend’s birthday, they gave her a free dessert and she was so surprised!! Lovely staff, great experience.

We have been going to Stone Grill regularly for the past few months and every time is consistent and excellent. The food is always of great quality, I enjoy being able to cook my steak to my liking. The service staff are always friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere is very fun, formal yet relaxing. You don’t feel like you’re within the club. The fried ice cream is also to die for.

This is the first time I’ve been back at this restaurant after the Renovations. I’ve been here years ago when it was less known. The Restraunt is nice and has a good atmosphere. There is also plenty of parking. The staff is excellent and friendly. Busy at weekends. This is a different take on the steakhouse. You’re given a hot stone to cook your steak in. The meat was nice and fresh. Steak was the best we have had. The sauce and chips was excellent. Enjoyed all the food. Oh.. and don’t forget to try the cocktails. Great overall. To finish we also ordered the cold stone grill ice cream. Yum! Definitely recommended. We will be back.

We had the Bungle Bungle platter for 2 wow what good value for money …… warm fresh bread with homemade butters …… 5 different styles of meat salad and veggies with 2 glasses of red for only $149 I highly recommend everyone goes WOW we have always come here BUT JESUS the new manager has taken it to another level …… his customer service is 11/10!! Bella the waitress was very sweet and polite!! Well done.

Both beef and pork ribs were beautifully done and delicious; generous portions with lots of sauce. We had the steak medium-rare and it was well prepared. The mushroom sauce we had went well with the steak, rich but not greasy. The sides were absolute standouts - mash was creamy and the highlight for me, while the onion rings was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Steamed vege and chips were both faultless. I recommend booking in advance, it does get quite busy.

We went there on Fathers day, the staff were absolutely amazing but clearly off their feet! Food was cooked to perfection. My husband is very critical with Kirkpatrick oysters and the Meat and Grain was the first positive feedback he has given (to me, he would never complain to staff) the Barramundi was succulent and my husband loved the steak. We will be coming back very soon!

What a great venue and the meals for all the 13 guests were outstanding. Our server Sagar met our every need with great advice and professional approach. Well done Meat and Grain Steakhouse!
