3 Best Australian Restaurants in Albury NSW

We were staying overnight in Albury and stopped at 2640 for dinner. The reviews we had read beforehand were very good so we thought we would try it. The steak fillet was done to perfection. And the warm vegetable salad entree with the goat feta cheese & lamb strap was to die for - a magnificent blend of tastes and textures. Our compliments to the chefs! We really enjoyed our meal. And the service was excellent too. Thank you 2640!!

The service was Fast, lighting in the restaurant was mood setting without being to dark. There was limited beer on tap however they were nice. Wine selection was good well priced. The Steak that I had was one of the best I have ever eaten everything on the plate was exactly how I would want it. Salty and delicious the red wine jus was brown and tasted amazing just a delicious brown source to balance out everything else on the plate I would highly recommend the Steak and red wine jus. The food also came out really fast and steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it.

From the moment we walked in the door there was a great feel about this venue. We were greeted with warm smiles and April looked after us and tended to our every need. The coffee was excellent and the food was amazing, complements to the chef. Lots of seating inside and outside. Very good COVIDSafe practices.

Just home from a wonderful lunch. Friendly, helpful, fast service. Nothing was too much trouble. We are from Sydney so sadly we can't eat here all the time. Food delicious, beautifully presented, fresh, crisp, crunchy, smooth, soft....all the textures our mouths could want. Flavours combined well, complemented each other, and easy to discern individually. Not just an excellent meal, but an actual dining experience. Gorgeous setting by the river provides a beautiful visual frame. Thank you.

Thankyou Molly for making our lunch so pleasant. Food was great, and your bubbly personality made it even better. Nice to sit outside on the deck in the sunshine. Easy parking and great views. Good for gluten and dairy free options too! Will be bringing friends and visitors here for sure. And able to bring the fur baby as well makes it even better.

Got a soy latte and the barramundi and chips to take away. Delicious and generous size meal and coffee was spot on. Lots of seating options and beautiful views, and was lovely sitting at the picnic table down by the river.

We were greeted immediately with a friendly hello upon arrival. We ordered plates to share, Fish croquet & Prawn Toast to start. Both were full of flavour and delicious. Secondly we had the Fried Chicken & Skewered Prawns , again both were cooked perfectly and delicious. The staff were very friendly, prompt service. The venue looks amazing in the outside seating area.

Highly recommend it here. Feels like you are outside with the windows along the front. Service was great each time we have been here - has a personalised feel to it. Food options more than your standard fare. Breakfast food is great - only minor drawback it can be noisy when there are quite a few people in there. Hard to get a park as it is near the main street and you will need to walk a little ways from anywhere that there is parking. Good spot all year round and the mushroom pizza is delicious!!!!!

Stopped here for lunch with the dog on our way back to Melbourne. Coffee was great, outdoor seating for the dog and delicious food. The service was friendly and punctual. Happily come back here.
