He trusts the ingredients should be allowed to 'speak' for themselves and creates all his dishes with that in mind. Hogget Kitchen offers fine dining with a great view over the town, along with some great food. Their three families have been preparing and distributing long lunches for the past few years-planning the future of food and wine for the Baw Baw region. They prepare food with nourishing stocks, fresh herbs, and loads of classic care. You can be assured of getting your favourite foods at Hogget Kitchen at an affordable price.

2025 Update: The restaurant offers gift vouchers. For group bookings of 15 guests or more, they offer a choice of two seasonal menus. The restaurant is located in the beautiful, rolling green hills of West Gippsland.”

HOGGET KITCHEN REVIEWS

This place is a real hidden gem. Lunch was sensational- we did the 5 courses (“let Trev cook for you”) - all the dishes were thoughtfully created and beautifully presented. We need to come back to try all the other dishes. Service was relaxed and friendly. The views over the vines are stunning. Definitely worth booking in advance!

Delicious lunch with great service and beautiful atmosphere. The food was interesting and well balanced, the lamb was incredible! Our waitress was lovely and attentive, and the interior was gorgeous and has a terrific view. Highly recommend.

We just stopped in for an afternoon drink before heading home. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed and the staff attentive and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend for an afternoon get together.
