3 Best Bakeries in Albany WA

Great sourdough bakery, fresh made into all types of bread including dark, light, brown, white breads and other shapes. Includes yummy cakes and pastries a must go too while in lovely Albany. NB: We went back today after a long period away and scored the home made pumpkin soup & baguette to go, yummy. And in the morning we sat with an almond latte each, in unique pottery cups, and it's then that we met the lovely lady's, one the barrista, the other the main front counter lady, both charming and friendly, who will lure us back time and again; groovey local coffee bakery place on the edge of a main roundabout atop of York Street; see you there!

I’ll do a lot of work to hunt down decent croissants, and so while I was in Albany I found this place. Small, but friendly and clearly a serious bakery, the croissant was good, crisp exterior, buttery, but slightly bready inside. The chocolate croissant was top notch and the coffee excellent. It also had a lovely atmosphere with lovely bakery smells and a lively clientele. Limited seating, so keep an eye out.

Went here for breakfast this morning. Good service and very friendly. Nice little shop and good selection of offerings. We got a pork sausage roll, a bacon and egg croissant and a butterscotch fig scroll. The sausage roll was nice but paled compared to the others which were really tasty and balanced. Well worth a visit.

Stumbled across their stall at the Boat Shed Market today. Possibly the best almond croissant we have ever had!! Just did a quick google search and discovered they have a shop but it is closed on Mondays. So we have just extended our stay in Albany by 2 nights to make sure we can visit the shop on Tuesday before we leave!!! That’s how good it was!

Excellent sourdough bread, lots of sweet and savory pastries, and friendly fast service. Just a couple tiny tables for sitting, but shaded by fruit trees for those who can't wait to start eating their treats. Coffee is fine, cream donut great, BLT yummy on a good roll. Highly recommended!

Delicious creamy curried egg sandwich & Tasty Ham & Salad roll. Must be the lovely bread. Quick & friendly service. Yet to try there coffee but jam & cream donuts so delicious. My now local go to place for Takeaway Morning tea & Lunch.

Peter and his wife are the most lovely, wonderful, helpful, hardworking people we have known for 10 years or more. His pastries etc are tasty and how they should be, normally buying 4 or more at a time, some might say the price is high, but they are well worth every cent. Today Thursday 22.5.25 I bought the last 6 pack of fruit buns, and might I add, and as Easter is now over they did not have a white cross on them, which I thought was most appropriate. So thank you once again for delicious food, take care Graeme and Bea, the ex donut man.

We look forward to going to town to our favorite bakery, always try to get the bun with the pink icing, we buy a couple and freeze them for snacks until we go back to town to get more...!!! Very friendly and all the yummy food is made with love.

Was on a holiday to albs, found the best jam cream donuts I've ever had! The lady was incredibly nice too, and very welcoming.
