3 Best Bakeries in Launceston TAS

The bakery's scallop pie is tasty, they normally come out like 9 am each morning and there will be a fresh batch during 1-2 pm. The food was also exceptionally well cooked. The vanilla slice was tasty and not too sweet. The whole place gave me a historical feeling. The place was also very clean and the mini Hawaiian pizza was kinda small but still it is very tasty.

Food is nice, could be more variety but it's okay, I still love it. It's my go to breakfast place before college, iced chocolates and nutella croissants are absolutely delicious. I did have a couple uncomfortable service, well kind of rude in a way but I'm used to it. I don't understand why though, I'm well-mannered. The atmosphere is nice and calm, absolutely beautiful.

The pies were great! Best place in Launceston, not only was it a good prices range, the pies had us coming for a second time. The pies are definitely the spotlight. I had hot chocolate and a cheese and chicken toastie. I don't have a picture of the pie but it was so good! Best place to go, certainly underrated compared to other restaurants in the area!

A delightful cafe with a wide selection of house-made pastries with good coffee. I stopped in for a pastry and coffee before flying out of Launceston later in the day. It was just what I needed for a quick coffee and a light breakfast. The selection of pastries was great and we really enjoyed the taste. The highlight was the Pain aux Raisin which was crunchy on the outer layers, but soft and moist within the inner layers. The dining space is nice, being in a renovated historic building. There are limited seats inside as well as a number of tables and chairs outside. Be aware that prices are a little high, and there are surcharges on weekends as well as a card payment surcharge too.

Sensational cafe experience with upbeat vibes and very friendly team. Outstanding sourdough and good selection of baked goodies. We had sardines and omelette for breakfast which were both really nice. Also a broad selection of coffees, we had a v60 and an espresso and both were to a high standard.

Good variety of pastries, good fast service, the dine-in area is nice to sit and chill. I like this store and i would love to come back and try more options when i come back to Launceston or Tasmania. Highly recommended .

I've been coming here for around 6 years and it has stayed consistant that whole time. The food is ALWAYS yummy and has remained very cheap for bakery goods. The staff have changed over the years but they have always been polite, up beat and chatty. I've been to bakery's all around Australia and America and have NEVER found better pies and sausage rolls! Thank you for being great!

We loved the birthday cake they made to order for us and would highly recommend for anyone looking to have a cake made for a special occasion. Thanks again for making such a great cake for us.

Best doughnuts in Launceston in my opinion. They have decent bread and pies are great. Lovely little bakery.
