3 Best Cafes in Queanbeyan, NSW

This cafe came recommended and the food didn't disappoint. What did disappoint was the time it took for our food to appear. It wasn't that busy when we arrived. My food (from the cabinet) came almost straight away but the other 3 in our party of 4 had to wait almost 30min, by which time I had finished my food. Our coffees were drunk and people were coming and going around us. I eventually had to ask where the food was. It arrived shortly after. There was no apology for the long wait. The bakery item range was extensive and looked delicious. My apple turnover was fresh and yummy. My toastie was tasty but nothing special. Everyone else enjoyed their food. With the range of local cafes available in the area, we might not go here again. No table water, no welcome, self serve menu and ordering.

Came to Ciao cafe & cakes Queanbeyan for breakfast whilst in town. Lovely little cafe with a massive selection of cakes and a small range of hot pies and sausage rolls. Staff were awesome and clearly this is the local for people because they knew everyone!! Coffee was really good and pie was great! Fast, reasonably priced and in a great location. Would highly recommend.

Excellent coffee and cakes store located in Queanbeyan. Friendly service and good food. Delightful Cafe that is one of my regular spots. They have GF options, and this is a GF mud cake we bought for a friend.

Best coffee! The bacon and egg rolls are also fantastic. Lovely fresh panini style rolls and beautifully cooked eggs and bacon. Still hot when it arrived at the table which is always a big.

Old school cafe style but updated. Menu items are simple but tasty, and include some fun items like red velvet lattes and multiple kinds fo toasties. Pretty accommodating for vegetarian diet too, didn't try it but there's a good looking mushroom burger on the menu. I had the bacon egg roll but changed the bacon to Halloumi. Nice option with relish.

Our go to every weekend. A great little cafe with a simple but good menu but more importantly amazing coffee and service with a friendly smile. They learn your regular coffee very quickly which I think is always a good sign for a good coffee shop. And you must try the red velvet latte….its amazing.

Beautiful little cafe conveniently placed with a cute little garden, very dog friendly and with a child playground attached for families. We ate outside even though it was a bit chilly that morning, and the pop-up gazebo stopped the leaves from the trees from falling in my coffee. :) The big breakfast was exactly that, and my eggs benny was cooked perfectly. We could tell it had been prepared fresh and it arrived VERY quickly. My only feedback for improvement would be to please heat the plates before serving, especially in winter. Everything was a bit cold when it was delivered to the table, which detracted slightly from our enjoyment of an otherwise perfect brekky.

Loved it !! This place impressed us in every factor. Such a lovely atmosphere plus its dog friendly. It felt like we are some where in the country side, very nice. The place can get very busy. We ordered egg benedict and stacked mushroom. It was absolutely delicious, the sauce tasted so fresh. The service was quick and the staffs there were lovely. Kudos to the team.

Lovely cafe with options to eat inside in the old drawing rooms or outside in the shaded courtyard. Worth a stop if travelling through Queanbeyan or even meeting friends.
