“St Patrick's Cathedral was expanded to serve both Catholic and Parish community people. Spread over 1.25ha, the Cathedral Precinct was initially recognised as a future site to offer a church for the growing Bunbury parish in the early 1900s. The place is a religious building that is the principal place of Catholic worship. St Patrick's Cathedral's first stone was laid in 1919, and the construction was finished in two years. The church was destroyed by a tornado in 2005, and they took five years to rebuild them. The church's construction was concluded and officially re-opened in 2011. They have fulfilled a unique meaning in the lives of the community individuals ever since the earliest days of Christianity. St Patrick's Cathedral also offers different scriptural, liturgical, theological and moral topics to learn about the historical and cultural values of the community.”
