“Wollongong Baptist Church facilities are the leaders who are safe, ministry-trained, enthusiastic and love to help kids grow in their faith. The church began in 1932. The church's vision is always to be a bible teaching church. Wollongong Baptist Church has people from 40 different countries and a multi-congregational church that wants people to be able to worship god in their heart language. The church hopes to continue to partner with missionaries in Australia and overseas. Wollongong Baptist Church also conducts home group meetings weekly all over the Wollongong region. The onboard course is designed to help newcomers get oriented to WBC in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

“St Francis Xavier Cathedral was established by Monsignor John Rigney. The church was stretched at the turn of the century and again in the 1930s. The church was raised to a cathedral and was declared a diocese by Pope Pius XII in 1951. St Francis Xavier Cathedral has been serving the growing Catholic population in the locality. One feature of the parish is the high percentage of visitors who come to the Masses. In 2006, there were approximately 4,300 Catholics in the parish. The church gave birth to other parishes, and the cathedral is presented as the mother church for tens of churches. St Francis Xavier Cathedral's Malayalam and the Dutch community celebrate monthly masses in this cathedral.”

I really love how our church, WBC, is like family. This is really important to me! If you find that important too then come along and check us out. I love that people can come from many different cultures, be married, single, with children, without...it doesn't matter... You are welcomed. I love that we care and come together and pray for those in need. We are practical and very relational... it's not just words...we show love too through actions. I love this about our church.

Been in this church for 3 years. Very bible-focused church and have a very welcoming community. Genuine and loving people.

A church that I have called home for over 5 years. Centred around the gospel of Jesus Christ. With a mission to know Christ and to make him known locally and around the world. It is a warm, welcoming group of people from many cultural backgrounds and across all ages. I encourage you to come and visit our church.

ST MICHAEL’S ANGLICAN CATHEDRAL REVIEWS

Friendly people and great Bible teaching. Simple English service available and English language classes. Lots of University students attend in the evening.

As far as churches go. This one was pretty good. I'm not the biggest church goer, but the service was beautiful, the hymns were upbeat and enticing and the atmosphere was amazing, the features stain glass windows were amazing all round a good morning.

Made me feel very welcome. Helen came over. Introduced herself and others. Beautiful maintained building. Plenty of seating in and outside. God Bless. I give them 1,000 stars. Highly recommended to worship.

A great church to get closer to God in happiness or happiness. May God bless the church and all people of Wollongong.

Go there regularly - Rosary & Midday Mass on a Wednesday - or - Sunday Evening Service - do so miss the Vigil Mass of a Saturday.

Beautiful cathedral in Wollongong. Went for midnight mass for Christmas and great service and mass.
