What an amazing find in an otherwise dormant food scene! AJs offer anything but a regular menu. If deep fried oreos or blood and guts tempt you give this proudly kiwi institution a try. There's a range of fish on offer and burgers are a popular alternative. The seated eating area offers welcome relief on a windy day.

Delightful lady who served me. The premises was clean and friendly and the seafood basket the best we have had!!! Light and crisp batter...everything was delicious. We live in NSW, I wish we had fish and chips this delicious at home.

Absolutely marvellous food, lovely friendly staff, and one of the cleanest chippy's I've ever been in. 5 stars. Had a really great supper.

This place is amazing. The chips were fresh, crunchy, and not soaked in oil—clearly, they change the oil regularly. The portion size was very generous. The fish was outstanding; it's clear they prioritise having fresh, high-quality fish consistently. It was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially when it came to my daughter's allergies. They assured me there would be no cross-contamination. I will definitely be coming back again.

The whiting and squid rings I had tonight were maybe the best I've ever had! So fresh and perfect batter! The service is always so friendly and positive. Food comes out quick! Best in Bunbury, easily.

By far the freshest and tastiest fish and chips I've had from anywhere. The shop was flat out and my order came out super quick. Great portion size, lovely shop and staff, I will be returning.

The staff are lovely and the quality of the meals just fantastic. The portions of fish are generous, the family pack is awesome. Best chips , delicious batter and great variety. Yum.

We bought fish n chips and they were delicious. The fish portions were big, I ordered 2 fish and we got 4. My friend is not a fish person but she ate both of hers The batter on the fish was crispy and just the right texture and the chips were fresh, crunchy on the outside and melted in my mouth on the inside.

One of the tastiest fish n chips I’ve had in a long time! Mermaid’s catch was a hit! Cant wait to be back next time we are in Bunbury.
