Only took us 7 months of being in Townsville and finally found what we believe is the best Indian food since we got here. Staff helpful and friendly. Cleanliness great. Food arrived in a timely manner especially for a Friday night. Food amazing. Pricing brilliant, cost less than we expected. We don't generally do Uber eats or the likes, BUT for this restaurant we will happily use Uber eats if don't want to go out to eat. Highly recommend.

The chicken Navabe was , as well as the cheese naan bread. The service was perfect. The restaurant has a great outside space and a lot of space for family groups inside.

5 stars are less for the restaurant, amazing hospitality by the owner ( Mr Chetan) And rest of the staff.

We had a nice diner in the Indian Restaurant. The waitress was super friendly and gave us good advices. The food was good, and tasty. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.

Went here for a large family dinner, was amazing, the best Indian restaurant we've been to so far. Very authentic food, Staff were very friendly and welcoming, couldn't recommend more.

My wife and I were delighted to find an Indian restaurant of this quality. Its menu is comprehensive but not over large and caters for a wide range of tastes, including vegetarian. The food is surprisingly, inexpensive. Our dinner of vegetable pakoras, lamb biryani, beef korma, cucumber raita, and sparkling wine was delicious. Each dish was genuinely Indian, not a second-rate copy. Table service was also excellent, and the manager, friendly and helpful. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys quality food - Dr. Brian W.

The food is very good and delicious, The best restaurant in The town. I ordered two butter chicken, and it was very delicious and it was worth it, I will suggest you to try this Restaurant next time.

Food is next level epic. The atmosphere isn't great and the service isn't special...but the food is the best in Townsville and I would highly recommend to try it.

We are visiting Townsville from Sydney and cannot recommend Jewel of India more. The menu is traditional, fresh and delicious with unique specials and an extensive vegetarian selection with the Black Dahl and Mushroom Chilli strongly recommended, but the highlight of the night was the gorgeous Rabia who served us with such joy. The food was outstanding but Rabia is and was the true jewel in the crown. - Sally B
