Undoubtedly the best sashimi out of Japan. I can not recommend this highly enough, the owner and staff are sensational. The food is divine and well priced. I'll be back this way for sure.

Great service and great food. Sushi was super fresh and I assume made to order. Welcoming and well priced. They have a happy hour on Japanese beer before 6pm which I lamentably missed. Next time.

Good solid range of Japanese Beers and the Mixed BBQ was awesome value. Going to see myself back here again real soon.

OOTOYA JAPANESE SUSHI BAR REVIEWS

Pretty good japanese food at good prices! The sashimi was pretty fresh, and the sushi rolls were nice and chunky. Got the crispy prawn roll and the grilled salmon roll which were pretty flavoursome. The sizzling bulgolgi is also a must. These dishes were great for sharing. Good for small groups

I had the Snowing on the roll with a side of mayonnaise, the portions were massive and the sushi its self was delicious, i loved the mayonnaise it was very cream and and sweet. the staff were very kind they even offered me some complimentary miso soup, it was very heart warming in this cold weather. 100% recommendation for anyone looking for a cheap and nice lunch or dinner.

Amazing food with very friendly staff makes this place my favourite Japanese restaurant in Coffs Harbour. Our Sukiyaki was great with fresh ingredients. Thank you for the experience. We recommend everyone to try it.

Stopped by for lunch had a lovely zangi (hokkaido style fried chicken) curry and aburi salmon nigiri. Lovely staff, great service and authentic food. Awesome value for money lunch spot that is tucked inside the Coffs Harbour City Square where you would least expect it. Give them a try

Amazing Japanese food, great and friendly staff, quick service and cheap for the quality. I'm not usually a reviewer but this place was so outstanding it deserves full marks

Heath and the team are absolutely wonderful. You can tell the food here is fantastic because there is always a line! Lots of options, but I can never go past a bento box
