3 Best Japanese Restaurants in Mackay QLD

Wow, definitely a must try in Mackay! We were just visiting for the weekend and didn't know where to eat for dinner one night so we decided to try Bing's Nomiya. We walked in off the street on a busy night and luckily there was 1 free table available for us. The menu is huge and we couldn't decide what to get because it all looked so good! My husband and I decided to share multiple small meals, which were absolutely delicious and filled us up quite nicely. We tried their house made Sake and it was one of the nicest alcoholic beverages I've ever had. The way it was served felt very authentic also. Staff were also friendly and welcoming. Would definitely try again next time I'm in Mackay.

Excellent Japanese restaurant and take away. I’ve only been here 2 times and it’s been busy and buzzing both times! I met Bing and he’s proud of what he’s got in Bing’s Nomiya! Highly recommend if you want a good meal and authentic taste. Edit - brought my wife here for dinner in this visit to Mackay - thoroughly enjoyed the service and food. Quote from my wife “did not expect so much yummy food - and never seen that much tofu being served!” Loved it.

Have seen this place but never tried it. So today we decided to see what it was all about. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted at the door by a very polite young gentleman. The service was friendly and patient as i took forever to decide. Relaxed atmosphere. Each dish cooked to perfection.Great portion sizes.

An amazing range of dishes that were delicious. The range included all the usual favourites as well as a jellyfish sushi that stood out. Parking: Parking is part of the shopping centre, so ample parking.

I love this sushi train. They have more varieties than other regions. Lots of vegetarian options to choose from and they even prepared unlimited Mayo and sweet chilli sauce on the train. Customer service is nice and I was approached with if I needed a drink or if I needed to order from them. The only down part is it's a very noisy place with bigger tables around. Lots of families held big events here. They certainly do not care other people. Generally a good experience.

We came here basically every week and tried almost everything. I can definitely say here has the best Sushi. Customer service is amazing, recommend.

We had a wonderful staff dinner at this sushi restaurant, and everyone absolutely loved it! As a massage business owner, I always look for a relaxing and enjoyable place to treat my team — and this place did not disappoint. The grilled meats were fresh and flavorful, the sushi was delicious, and the salmon was especially fresh and buttery. Great service and a welcoming atmosphere too. We’ll definitely be coming back regularly for our team gatherings. Highly recommended.

The value of this restaurant is amazing.a quite wide selection of dishes from the all you can eat option was perfect. The meat quality is fresh and I liked how convenient the ordering process is without having to pick up the meats yourself. the food is delivered to your table by the cute serving robots. Would recommend.

Closest we have had to authentic Japanese food. The meat was tender, crisp and fresh. I had the okonomiyaki which was rich and delicious. The staff was very attentive. Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys Japanese cuisine.
