Best Australian Restaurants in Mackay, QLD

A wonderful find on my visit to Mackay.. This restaurant has a sophisticated feel with nice warming decor and has the food and service to matches well. Excellently presented dishes comprising of fresh local ingredients , which are a delight to consume in this lovely atmosphere. David is a super friendly host that takes real pride in his lovely restaurant..The service is fantastic, so saying all this I have no hesitation in recommending.. To top it off Fusion proudly offers a very well comprised wine list and selection of cellared wine of quality .. This place is the GO in Mackay .. outstanding!! Very family and child friendly.

Such a great atmosphere with amazing service by the beautifully run family restaurant. Great selection on the menu. Barramundi was just Devine followed by line of the best sticky dates with macadamia ice cream. The owner even has a few party tricks up his sleeve that left us all with our jaws on the floor. Thank you for such an amazing meal and atmosphere.

Highly recommend. Enjoyed the absolute best young waiter who knew the menu with great table service. Atmosphere was incredible with great music selection and low set lighting. Our meal has to be the best we’ve had in Mackay. Thank you for the experience. We will be back.

Galleons was a lovely spot to dine. It had a calm serenity with our table overlooking the pool. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere with great company. The waiter was very polite & hospitable. The menu had a sufficient variety of foods to choose from. My meal presentation was of a high quality & was very tasty. I would happily dine here again.

Great awesome night, food was fresh and hot. 3 or more events on so place was buzzing with entertainment. Hannah and team - great work Accomodation was spot on, rooms spotless and clean.

Had our wedding here back in April after sampling the menu a couple of times since the renovations. Amazing atmosphere, unreal food and excellent service. Highly recommended.
