Always a great night at Gyo. The food is never a let down. The staff are friendly and helpful. Best Yakisoba since Okinawa and the sashimi platter is always fresh and fantastic

You can't beat the price for their lunch specials. Fantastic quality of food, delicious and good service. Make sure you'll try the green tea thick shake. The best I've had. ... If you wanna buy the same menu at dinner time, it would cost much much more

Absolutely great and fun menu! We had the best time with this sukiyaki meal. Service was perfect and we didn’t need to wait long at all

I like the food here. I dined here with my Japanese friend, and he said these dishes are really like authentic Japanese food. The service and attitude was great! Standard price. Would come back again! Only one thing not correct is that, the dish “Miso soup ramen”, actually the soup is shoyu ramen, not miso soup. If they use silky tofu for agedashi tofu, it’d be better. And please try Karaage, it’s very delicious especially with beers.

We were nearby and desperate for dinner and very happy to find this Japanese restaurant. The menu is varied with a mix of traditional Japanese dishes and many with a Westernised slant. Very good range of sake, even a few high quality ones

Amazing place. The decoration is well done and brings a lovely atmosphere, but the best is definitely the food which was just amazing. Every single dish was delicious

Best Laarb in Townsville! Would recommend this shop as service was good as well as price point for food! The servings were large and the food was very flavoursome! Ambience left something to be desired but food and value for money is great for that to not be a considerable factor. Run by Thai people, would recommend their Thai dishes (yet to try their Japanese range).

Don’t underestimate their shop looks, the foods in here legit tasty and generous portions. My favourite is rice with bbq and crispy pork. 10 out of 10 for me, definitely will come back.

I ordered the PAD chicken noodles and the Hot prawns dish and omg it was amazing! I loved the food so much that this restaurant is gonna be my favorite from now on.
