“Mooroopna Railway Station has been extended to accommodate longer, modern VLocity trains. The improved station accessibility and enhanced comfort contribute to a better experience for passengers. Stage 2 of the Shepparton Line Upgrade completed the necessary improvements, enabling VLocity trains to travel to and from Shepparton for the first time. A siding serving the SPC Ardmona fruit factory is located opposite the station and is served by Pacific National freight services. As part of the Regional Rail Revival project to upgrade the Shepparton line, the platform was extended to accommodate VLocity trains. The project was completed in August 2022 and included the installation of new lighting, seating, shelters, and CCTV, as well as an upgraded car park and improved pathways leading to the station.”

MOOROOPNA CEMETERY REVIEWS

I have many family members here in Mooroopna, I had not been to see my grand parents graves so when I got there I was just a little lost. I walk over to this young man cutting the grass, I asked him if he new were these graves were, he when over to his little shed and took me to nan and pops graves as they were not marked he got two little white crosses and marked my grand parents graves it mad me smile. Also I would like to say the way the graves are keep is just beautiful there is always flowers everywhere. I have about 15 family members in this cemetery and one this I know they will always be looked after for the care taker REALY TAKES CARE OF OUR PASSED FAMILY. I wanna be laid to rest here even though in in Inverloch.

I have my brother buried here an know that his grave will be looked after as his remaining family live so far away an cannot be there to take care of it personally. Thanks to the care taker, a job well done.
