Shoulder surgery completed by Dr Gomez ensured I understood what was going to happen during my procedure in plain english without making me feel stupid. His ability to communicate with his patients at a common level is outstanding. After the operation he explained all steps with photos of my procedure and all the little extras that were hiding and required fixing. His skill is profound without even being told about my Ta Moko Dr Gomez and his team took the time to place the incisions in between lines where possible and as small as possible this was greatly appreciated. Dr Rau was my surgeon to repair a complete long head bicep tear, my rotator cuff and subscapularis tendon repairs. I have nothing but good to say about this surgeon. He says it how it is, you know what you're facing and he's completely professional. I highly recommend Dr Rau and if I had to go through surgery again, he would be my first choice hands down. Just had knee surgery with Dr Rau. Was walking that day on it, no pain, feel great. Dr Rau is nothing but professional and deep down he has a wicked sense of humor. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Pretorius has always kept my health and wellbeing as his number 1 priority. He takes time to explain the reasoning behind his surgical decisions -which is very helpful when patients sometimes feel unsure about why things have gone wrong; or how to fix it. Dr. Pretorius takes great care to follow up with his patients regarding post op physio therapy and adequate rest. From the moment I set foot in his rooms, meeting the friendly and professional receptionists, I knew I was in good hands. Would recommend him without a second thought.

I really appreciate the time Dr Pretorius takes to explain a procedure and the use of video and pictures to help me fully understand. Post surgery he has always been available to answer any of my questions and concerns. I never felt alone before or after the operations. Dr Pretorius is informative, approachable, professional and all round top bloke in my opinion. I have had a total knee replacement carried out and will not hesitate to have the other knee carried out when necessary. I have no problem in recommending him to anybody.
