MR ANDRIES DE VILLIERS - GIPPSLAND ORTHOPAEDIC GROUP REVIEWS
Had a knee Arhrescopy done 2 years done by this Specialist. He has just done a knee replacement for me. He has also done a hip replacement and a knee reconstruction for my Wife. He is the best Specialist I have ever seen, if you need any work done like this, I thoroughly recommend this Surgeon. Save your time, do not bother looking anywhere else.
While Mr De Villiers doesn't have the best bedside manner, I would have to say he is one of the best surgeons in Victoria, if not Australia. Could not be happier with the results of the surgery performed on my mother-in-law!!!.
My other half attended a clinic today to see Mr De Villiers, he was so welcoming, comforting, understanding and helpful. Highly recommended. My other half had shoulder issue and we hope is now resolved. Thank you to Mr De Villiers and his team.

MR MALCOLM THOMAS - GIPPSLAND ORTHOPEDIC GROUP REVIEWS
I had kneecap realignment surgery done 10 years ago followed by knee replacement 3 months later after being convinced by the then surgeon he didn't believe the original sugery would be successful but due to my age at the time (42) he had to show the replacement was justified under medicare. I was to have both knees done but I opted for one at a time. Thankfully. I persevered with the other knee and 2 years ago saw Mr Thomas. I have never looked back. At first, I thought the kneecap realignment he performed didn't work but patience and perseverance paid off. It is the best thing that has happened especially as now my replaced knee is nearing its use-by date and will have to undergo another which will only leave me the option of one more replacement later in life. Thank you, Mr Thomas.
Dr Malcolm Thomas who has done two arthroscopies and a hip replacement for me and will soon do a shoulder replacement. I have had no problems with any of the surgeries and found Mr Thomas (a busy man) just lovely. The person who wrote that old revue is most likely the kind of person who finds fault with everything and everyone and probably didn't follow post-operative instructions. All three surgeons mentioned are well respected medically and personally.
Had a full hip replacement by Malcolm and his team at tralgon hospital, felt really confident in my first meeting with Malcolm that I was with the right surgeon..he explained everything that needed to be done and how he would do it.its been just on 5 weeks since operation.and all my neck and back pain gone.after he fixed a 25mm short leg which was repaired with hip replacement.and walking and bending all good and each day gets better and better I could go on and on how good this operation has been for me .Malcolm has given me a much better quality of life.and for that I'm grateful. I can't recommend him enough he is a master at his craft and if he's your surgeon your in safe hands.thanks for everything Malcolm cheers markus Hog.

Mr Peter Rehfisch is an exceptionally skilled orthopaedic surgeon based in Traralgon. Trained in Melbourne, he specialises in treating trauma and elective patients with a focus on hip and knee replacement, knee arthroscopy and reconstructions, and hand surgery. Additionally, Mr Peter Rehfisch addresses a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles. His current practice is at Gippsland Orthopaedic Group, a clinic equipped with modern technology. The clinic is dedicated to delivering high-quality orthopaedic care to each individual. Arthroscopic knee surgery, or keyhole surgery, entails using two small incisions on either side of the kneecap (patella). Additional incisions may be employed in some cases. This surgical approach allows for the repair and resection of torn cartilage, removal of loose bodies, and reconstruction of knee ligaments through arthroscopy. Following a knee arthroscopy, patients can typically bear weight depending on the specific procedure, and many can return home on the same day.

MR PETER REHFISCH REVIEWS
I had bilateral carpal tunnel surgery on both hands, 2 weeks later I’m back at work, 99% numbness gone, no pain, no more problems sleeping at night. Peter was quick and accurate to diagnose the problem, 6 weeks after first consultation, I had the operation.
