“Newman Park is a picturesque playground with a huge range of play equipment. There is a large castle structure with lots of levels, steps, walkways and ramps, plus spiral, curved and straight slides, triple slides and spiral ladders. Newman Park has so much to offer, including a range of playgrounds for children of all ages. The park also has a large purple and green climbing structure with many obstacles and two surfboard springers. Their facilities include toilets, a baby changing room and a water tap. Newman Park offers a sheltered BBQ area, along with plenty of unshaded tables and seating, providing a great spot for gatherings and outdoor meals.

2025 Update: Newman Park has plenty of picnic tables, also decorated as trains and plenty of seating for the parents.”

NEWMAN PARK REVIEWS

Amazing park and playground. Toilets (with toilet paper and soap!!), drinking fountain, all access playgrounds for all ages - from toddlers to teens/grown up kids! A wheelchair swing. BBQ area and tons of picnic benches. It’s a lovely stopover spot or to spend a day. Lots of ground for dogs to have a run around too. Victory Park, connected, is beautiful with plenty of shade, scenic walks and roses. Gorgeous place next to the railroad. Plenty of parking.

Great playground in Traralgon. Train is a major theme of this park. There is a big makeshift train with in-built slides, games and obstacle course in the middle and a mini rail track on the side. Plenty of picnic tables, also decorated into trains. Lots of public toilets too. No, toilets have nothing to do with trains. Not everything is in the form of a train.

The train park, a great place for kids of all ages to play, run around and enjoy. Seating for parents and decent walking tracks as well.

VICTORY PARK REVIEWS

Lovely park to walk through or sit and picnic. Kids love the playground, bbq and facilities at adjoining Newman Park which also homes the Traralgon miniature railway. Victory park walking paths lead to a pleasant stroll or jog along side the creek past the shopping precinct and towards sporting venues and so on.

Nice park for lunch or a stroll. Very big kids playground at the back of this park. Great place for photos with a lot of people coming here to take their deb and wedding photos. Close to shopping centre and holds music events occasionally. Nice stop if you're driving through town.

Was a lovely sunny day n took my 89yo Dad for a spin in his wheelchair around the gardens n its so beautiful n tranquil n very clean n tidy park too.
