FLAGSTAFF HILL MARITIME VILLAGE REVIEWS
What a beautiful place this is! Takes you back in time! The whole village has been done with such great details that it doesn't feel like it's not real. The museum gives so much information to read, the Tearooms are pretty where we had our coffee and scones with beautiful views of the village. The light and sound show at night was worth it too, walking with lanterns in our hand with a tour guide and seeing the show where they told us about the fascinating stories of shipwreck was all amazing! To top it off are the beautiful ocean views just from top of the light house or the hill. The gift centre has a variety of things for every age group and the staff are exceptional. A shoutout to Jill from the staff who made our trip memorable!
Had an enjoyable time walking through the village and learning about the history. It was quiet during our visit and I'm guessing it would be busier during holiday season. Well worth a visit.
One of my most favorite places. I was amazed as to how they have preserved the history that well. So beautiful and educational. There are so many beautiful sights once one enter the village. The facilities are astonishing great too.

Warrnambool Botanic Gardens was envisioned by renowned landscape gardener William Guilfoyle in 1879, showcasing a diverse array of plants, and offering an extensive collection for aspiring botanists. Among its treasures are remnants of the original planting and over 40 varieties of coniferous species. Notably, the central focal point of the gardens is the Lone Pine, planted in 1934, which grew from a seed collected at the original Lone Pine at Gallipoli, representing one of only two surviving "child" trees from the original. The gardens boast gracefully winding paths, housing an array of old and rare plant species alongside attractions like a band rotunda and a serene lily pond inhabited by ducks and turtles.

WARRNAMBOOL BOTANIC GARDENS REVIEWS
Warrnambool Botanical Gardens is a beautiful place to have a walk, picnic, enjoy the nature, or all of the above. It'd be great for families with kids. Before heading there, I imagined it to be bigger than it was. You can walk in and around the paths in about 30 minutes. But if you stop to, "smell the roses", so to speak, you could enjoy a good few hours here for sure. Parking is aplenty nearby also. Some of the trees here have some huge girths. Very Thanos-like! There is even a secret (maybe not so secret) rainforest area with ferns. It was quite a surprise to see a few Seagulls acting like ducks in order to get food too!
Beautiful space that’s perfect for a short stroll. For locals it would be a tranquil spot for a picnic, some reading in the shade or meditation. Appreciate the foresight and history of someone in 1866 creating this garden. Well done to those who maintain this for all to enjoy.
Pretty manicured gardens just a short walk outside the town. Beautiful pond with fish. Best time Spring flowers! Bats are a bit scary haha. Small garden so doesn’t take long to look around but worth a look.

LOGANS BEACH WHALE WATCHING PLATFORM REVIEWS
No whales day we went but a great set up with easy access from carpark to viewing deck (stairs to beach only though), outside shower and of course a great beach for surfers and swimmers. Even in the middle of winter is stunning. Lots of educational information on whales so worth the visit. Always popular.
Perfect day with clear skies and the sun shining. Car park was nearly empty, and the ramp to the viewing platform was easy for wheelchairs. Steps are very steep to get down onto the beach.
I had a great day at this place as I saw whales supposedly coming over to give birth. It is recommended that when you come over, you can wear thicker clothes, because the wind is really strong.
