This place ticks all the boxes - great location on the river, attentive and friendly service, and great food generously apportioned. It's vegetarian-friendly. Food was served fast. This is exactly what a restaurant should be! Well done.

Fantastic place for breakfast lunch and dinner. Great location right on the river. Really nice outlook up and down the river. I had the bucket of king prawns and they are great. Highly recommend for a visit.

This place is absolutely amazing. Was taken here as a surprise for Valentine’s Day where my partner proposed to me. He posted a review and the lovely staff viewed it and surprised us with two beautiful pieces of cake. Not only was the atmosphere lovely, the food is delicious and well priced but the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Thanks for making my special day even more special. We will definitely be returning many times.

Without a doubt the best fish and chips EVER. Great value, nice size pieces, cooked perfectly, ( we had crumbed) and surprisingly thick pieces. Chips were "real" chips chunky ones and nothing was greasey. Service was fast and friendly, shop was busy which is always a good indication of great tucker. 10 of 10 ladies.

Having never been here before, I was unsure of the food. What a tastefully bliss surprise. We ordered fish and scallops, wow wow wow. Some of the best I have ever had. I can't stop telling people to try it for themselves if they are going through Rocky.

Samos is the best fish and chips store in rockhampton area. Their food is always amazing and customer service is friendly. You get value for money and a really satisfying meal. Always look forward to fish and chips night.

It’s very yummy. Hong Kong Rice & Tofu Combination Veg is a good combination and must try with a starter of crab meat soup. The flavour feels like home. Service is good as well. Thanks for a lovely meal. We will be back.

First meal in Rockhampton after touching down there. Started to miss Chinese food on my first day and my seniors brought me to this restaurant for a welcome dinner. Now, run a Vietnamese chef who was an apprentice with the original owner. Still, served good Chinese dishes. Its steamed chicken is similar to those found in SG and MY. Overall a good and enjoyable dinner.

A favorite little hideaway of mine, the only Chinese restaurant I'll return too...! Great value and extensive menu. Have dined her countless times and it's always nice to have a drink with the staff at the end of the night and sometimes other customers, foriegn or local, please follow chefs suggestions and if you're not sure about something just ask the friendly staff.. very kind and approachable people.
