The service is attentive, and the drinks list offers a great selection. The restaurant offers a contemporary Japanese dining experience, using seasonal and local ingredients combined with traditional Japanese techniques and flavour profiles. Great attention to detail is paid to each menu item. You must try their wafu steak, arani, tempura ume, tempura tsuki, tempura yasai, sukiyaki, and shabu shabu. This restaurant is a beautiful place to enjoy a leisurely lunch with family and friends.”

Visiting this truly “hidden gem” is an experience in itself. Located on the grounds of an abandoned resort, the restaurant exudes an aura of mystery. Definitely worth visiting just for the experience. The food was excellent. Reservations are necessary and they don’t exactly pick up the phone due to limited hours. We tried their grilled eel, large tempura plate, and mixed sushi. Everything was well made and the decor was pleasant as well. Highly recommend.

Was a little worried it would be very good. Was great. We had a lot of different dishes. Highly recommend.

My all time favourite restaurant in all of yeppoon. I've been coming here for over 20 years. I highly recommend the matsu course.

Always excellent food. Treat yourself to a crispy chicken sushi burrito. Be prepared for a very large serving. Can barely eat one solo. Have had lunch here a few times and the hot meals are great with a large portion size.

This is our favourite place. It has great service and it's sushi. Healthy with hot and cold dishes, you can have meat or no meat and it is very clean.

This place serves great Sushi Bowls and Sushi Burritos. A must try if you are in the area.

HANE SUSHI REVIEWS

So, the traditional Saturday night at our favorite sushi haunt had come around again. As usual, the staff at here were rushed off their feet but still fulfilling their service with friendly, happy smiles. I had my normal fare of chicken and avocado small rolls, as well as a Cheetos roll. Still a little peckish, I decided on a sashimi, which I do not normally order. I am very glad that I did on this occasion. It tasted creamy and fresh. Thanks for the excellent visit.

It was a delightful experience to enjoy a meal here, a hidden gem tucked away in a remote location. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was welcomed with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.

Absolutely love dining at Hane Sushi Yeppon. This shop looks so nice and amazing. Wide variety of fresh tasty food. So easy to order food and drinks from ipad. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, will definitely come back again.
