“Sakura Sushi Japanese restaurant has the charm and authenticity of dining in a comfortable restaurant. The design of the restaurant is typical of the Japanese minimalist style. They supply beautiful traditional Japanese cuisine to the local community. The restaurant gives you the authentic feel of Japanese restaurants regarding their decorations. The staff are polite, and the sushi chefs are incredible. This little restaurant is always so busy, and everything comes out fresh. Additionally, the option to bring your wine adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience at this establishment.

Fresh, delicous and authentic Japanese restaurant! Sushi maki rolls were big servings and well priced. Chicken katsu roll was crispy and very fresh. Enjoyed the miso soups on the side, warming and comforting on a rainy day. Loved the Japanese-style decor.

Lovely authentic Japanese restaurant, our go to restaurant in the gong. Prawn tempura is amazing and the spicy tuna rolls delicious! You really need to book to get the best experience here they are often busy as they are very popular.

Second time I've been here and it was twice as wonderful. The staff are friendly, kind and accommodating; the food is impeccable.I can't recommend this place enough.

Came here for dinner with a group. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was all delicious!! Luckily we had a big round table, which enables us to order lots of different dishes to share. Would definitely recommend having dinner here, and would look forward to coming again.

This has to be hands down the best sushi, Japanese restaurant around, the staff here are always sooo friendly and the service is great. The sushi rolls are well priced considering you pay more at an individual sushi place, all the rolls here taste super fresh and yummy! I live in Sydney and drive down here for lunch! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Really great food & service. The serving size for the double salmon roll was very generous! We would definitely come back here again.

Moon Sushi in Wollongong has become my go-to spot for delicious sushi, especially for takeaways on busy work days. The California roll is a standout, with its perfect blend of fresh crab meat, creamy avocado, and crisp cucumber. The quality and presentation of the sushi are exceptional, a testament to the skilled chefs. The friendly staff and inviting ambiance enhance the overall experience. Moon Sushi is my top choice for a stellar sushi fix in Wollongong.

If you're looking for a nice, decent, affordable Japanese place for lunch, this place is perfect. Good service, great food, menu selection was decent as well. I was so surprised at how well-priced they were considering the quality and portion size. Sashimi serving was very generous. My favourite was the 'Moon's Sushi', that was delicious.
