He is a member of the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Australia, 2015. He was awarded his fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2015. Dr Isaac Thyer is involved in regular teaching activities for trainees in urology and other surgical specialties. Dr. Isaac Thyer has appointments and regular operating lists at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Hollywood Private Hospital, Joondalup Health Campus, St John of God Hospital in Geraldton, and Geraldton Regional Hospital.

2025 Update: In 2015, Dr Isaac Thyer underwent further observational training in the treatment of testicular cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York.”
