After graduating as an acupuncturist in Sydney, he trained at Guangzhou Teaching Hospital before starting his practice in Randwick. John has worked in various medical settings, including Bondi Wholistic Medical Centre and Helios Health Centre, an integrative medical practice in the Sydney suburb of Balmain. He has lived and worked in the Highlands since 1993 and continues to practice here whilst maintaining a practice in Sydney one day per week.
