3 Best Australian Restaurants in Alice Springs NT

Christmas dinner with the family. The food and drinks are of an excellent quality - probably the best in Alice Springs - but the lasting memory for us will be the amazing staff. Really friendly and accommodating. My kids liked the experience so much that they convinced us to change our accommodation to the Doubletree Hilton Alice Springs when we return to Alice in a few days.

Had a wonderful evening seated on the atrium side. Our waiter Otto was attentive and efficient. The menu has improved significantly since we were here last. The scotch fillet and duck platter were absolutely fantastic! Special mention for the side veg - perfectly crunchy and buttery. And hubby inhaled the chocolate dessert. Will definitely be back again soon.

Nice Modern Australian style restaurant located in the Double Tree Hotel. Staff were all friendly and the food was delicious. The $70 set menu with three courses (excluding drinks) was good value.

Our trip to Sporties was a taste of something different in Alice Springs. The menu had a lot to offer, with traditional favourite like parmies and some specialty items including daily specials. Their doorsteps are considered their specialty range and these are a big feed for anyone. Staff were very attentive, making sure we didn't have an empty glass or messy table. They were also very friendly and efficient. Overall a great venue for lunch.

Great restaurant to come to for dinner. Awesome atmosphere! We walked in just after service had started and 90% of the tables where reserved. This is a good sign that it was going to be a good meal. They open earlier than other restaurants which is great when you have young children. The service is fantastic. Warm and friendly and the waiters suggestive sell which tells me they love the food and are proud to work here. I will be back for sure. Thanks Sporties for a memorable feed!!

Perfect spot for an ice cold beer and a big meal in Alice. The food portions are extremely generous for the price and the drinks prices are hard to beat. Early evening vibes are more of a family atmosphere, I enjoyed having a couple of drinks at lunch on a hot day.

Very excellent, the best we have experienced in the Alice. Quality service from the staff who listened and responded quickly and professionally. So many places tell you what they think you want to know rather than listening and giving you what you want, thank you Tali. The outdoor dining area was very lovely with a great view of their internal garden. The menu had a great range of choices and there was something for everyone. You could come here a few times and have a different culinary experience each time. Access is a little confusing but is best done through the casino it seems.

I had a delightful three-day stay at Crowne Plaza, Alice Springs, highlighted by the excellent dining at Tali Restaurant. The diverse breakfast, amazing coffee, and lovely staff made each morning enjoyable. Our dinner at Tali was equally impressive, with the octopus being a standout dish. The staff's warmth and professionalism added to the exceptional experience. Highly recommended for both breakfast and dinner.

Top quality food, service and atmosphere. I had the Rib eye, broccolini side and chocolate fudge cake. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly and the rest of the food tasted amazing. The staf f were welcoming and attentive. Overall impressive experience.
