3 Best Bakeries in Rockhampton QLD

What a special place! Yummy food gorgeous service. People who are not gluten free often don’t understand how you miss certain foods particularly from childhood like iced Vovos or apple turn over or pies. Well you can get it all here! I particularly love the Ned Kelly cheese and bacon pie! My husband who is not gluten free had a chocolate cake and said it was the best he ever had which is saying something as he usually doesn’t like anything gluten free. Thank you so much for bringing so much joy to so many people!

It was the Artizan sign on the Bruce Hwy that brought me to town! I just enjoyed a delicious Black Pepper Pie. Light flakey pastry, good chucky beef pieces and a good amount of black pepper. This pie didn't need sauce! Thank you Artizan for this great gluten free bakery!

We LOVE this bakery . Their products are delicious and so many allergy friendly options (all GF, some Dairy free and other options) . We come here often and also get all our birthday cakes from here . My husband who is not GF also ogress that the food is delicious.

I don't live in Rockhampton, but I have family here and have enjoyed the treats from the Dean Street Bakery for many decades - they never disappoint. I highly recommend their cream buns - I have eaten many a cream bun over the years, but none have ever surpassed those from Dean Street Bakery. Within my family they are the stuff of legend - I have even been know to freeze them so I can bring them back home with me! 5/5 stars.

Absolutely LOVE this place. Always so accommodating and the cakes and cupcakes that you can order are truly incredible!! They taste amazing and are so reasonably priced!

I’ve tried their pies and sandwiches and they were all reaaaally good!! So filling! I went for brunch today and ordered some donuts and pies (again), also tried their coffee and chai latte, everything I’ve tried so far truly exceeded my expectations! The cafe was pretty busy but the staff remained composed and lovely, especially the people at the counter. I really appreciate Darwel’s assistance regarding my orders! Highly recommended and will come back for sure!

Tried the new bakeshop in town and it did not disappoint! Love their pies and donuts. It was seriously so good with just the right amount of flavor and sweetness. The crew is very nice and friendly. It was totally worth lining up for!! Definitely my new favorite brunch place.

Grabbed a dozen doughnuts to go today, after lunch. The customer service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere inside the cafe was relaxed and busy. Purchased six Vanilla Custard Doughnuts and six Jam and Cream Doughnuts. Cannot fault these classics, highly recommend!!
