Big shout out to The Wharf Shed Geelong. We celebrated my daughter and her partners engagement/ surprise wedding on Saturday in their gorgeous upstairs function space with balcony overlooking Geelong harbour. Big thanks to Matt for your wonderful support, service and hospitality for our family and friends who attended. You guys were amazing !! Nothing was a problem and you made the whole experience easier and stress less hahahaha. Forever grateful ?? The grazing table was delicious and all the canapés were Yumm and the kids (there was lots of them ) smashed their meals. Thank you again for looking out for our little ones x Can not thank you enough for a great night of celebration that was enjoyed by all.

Compared to our last visit from a few years ago, Wharf Shed has come a long way! The place is now great - great location, good food and friendly staff! The food we had were great and enjoyed our time there. Vastly different from our first visit. Congrats on such an amazing turnaround and improvement! Happy to recommend their seafood items and their pork belly. Check our our photos.

KING OF THE CASTLE CAFE REVIEWS

Fresh off the boat and looking for a feed, King Of The Castle was a conveniently close option. While 7am was a little early, the kitchen opened at 7.30 and proved it was more than worth the wait - with incredible hot cakes and the King's breakfast living up to the name - everything on the plate was incredible. I am lucky my partner got a photo, otherwise this review would only be able to show an empty plate.

Delicatble, deliciousness, these are two words to describe this food spot! The staff are friendly and very helpful, wait time on food is not long at all, this place is so good! I highly recommend you go and try this establishment out.

This place is spacious with a modern atmosphere. I had the wrap which was delicious, however the mushroom on toast was a bit too rich. They have a kids menu and gluten free options.

CAFE GO. REVIEWS

Eclectic Brunswick is back but in Geelong! Mirrors from the 50’s, 60, 70’s complimented with mismatching Formica and wooden tables. The courtyard is a great escape with greenery to help you find harmony and peace from a hectic world. If you want something local and away from tourist attractions and want quality not speed rushed service try Cafe Go.

Great coffee, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I had my favourite meal here which is the fritters with apple slaw, smoked salmon, poached eggs and the green goddess sauce! When I’m in Geelong I come here just for this meal, I love it.

Lovely to sit outside in the sun and breeze and enjoy a good brunch. Came here for a quick breakfast but left after more than an hour of chats and just taking in the morning. And not forgetting the great food.
