The creme brulee doughnut is to-die-for. Feel like eating egg tart within a doughnut - really an applaudable creation. Great coffee, spacious outdoor seating. Highly recommend this place which is not far from exiting Princes Hwy going to Geelong city centre. Opposite the cafe are antique and popculture anime shops selling a variety of film and cartoon figurines.

Great atmosphere, beautiful and open design with well maintained heritage old brick building. Bread was absolutely great and coffee was surprisingly good too. highly recommended.

After three years of wearing braces, I wanted nothing more than to chomp into some fresh, crusty bread, so I came here (my ortho had mentioned it as she was removing the metal... thanks, Clara). And, folks, I was not disappointed! My recently freed teeth thoroughly enjoyed the Rye Spelt. I wanted to buy more, so much more -and I will!- but I kept to my humble goal of fresh, crusty bread. My eye and camera definitely loved the other breads, and the pastries and sweet ones. By the way, I got a coffee too. And it has to be said: The flat white I ordered turned out to be... a flat white; unbeluevably, other places cannot, will not do this (youll likely get a froffy latte). Wild, hey. The place was busy but orderly and staff were efficient and calm. All great signs that Born & Bread is managed well. Spoiler alert: that loaf of Rye Spelt was finished by the end of the day!

Amazing bakery in Geelong with an extensive range of all things bakery. The daily sandwiches are well balanced and the variety of pastries and cakes excellent. Coffee is great with all plant based milks on offer. I have stopped here multiple times on the way to/from Ocean Grove and am yet to fault anything. Amazing bread and the sticky pecan buns with custard are a delight!

Absolutely divine artisan bakery, the range of baked goods is expansive. Everything done perfectly, pastries, coffee, friendly vibes! Highly recommended.

Come here every Sunday for a potato pie and a sausage roll. Girls at the counter are always really nice and very quick at what they do. Prices are a tad steep but comparatively speaking fair as well. My only gripe is there could be a better selection of drinks available, however with the lack of space they probably couldn’t fit another fridge out the front anyway.

Rod's to the rescue! Great wraps that I ordered for catering (A last minute addition!) Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back based on service alone, and the wraps were delicious and had plenty of tasty filling!

Good ol Rods bakery never fails to provide top quality pies and pastries. if you haven't tried RODS BAKERY ,it's a must if you're passing through Lara or visiting. Good local bakery from local people.
