3 Best Cafes in Toowoomba QLD

First time here, and we absolutely loved the food and the waitress. No questions here. BUT the coffee was really bad, I ordered a flat white and they severed an extremely frothed milk. When I complained about it, they just took the coffee back and dumped the froth and brought the same coffee back on the same dirty cup and gross. After 3rd attempt, they "tried" a bit harder, but still by far a quality coffee. see pic. Look, honesty, beautiful places, amazing waitress, and food. Don't come here for coffee.

I enjoyed table service, and my coffee was prepared in just 5 minutes, even at 2 pm. The outdoor setting was lovely, adding to the experience. I ordered the Pulled Beef Melt, which was delicious. It would have been even better with a serrated knife to eat the toasted melt more easily. However, overall, everything was wonderful. The attentive waiter offered to cover my bill right at the table, saving me the trip back inside. This convenience added to the enjoyment of the visit. Definitely worth checking out.

We came just after opening on Saturday and sat outside with our dog. Beautiful decor and alfresco dining! Friendly and attentive staff and the food came out quickly. Coffees, Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and the Breakfast Burger was delicious and hit the spot! Would highly recommend.

Cafe Valetta has a beautifully relaxed vibe. The French music really sets the scene for a lovely dining experience. We visited for breakfast and the food was delicious! Accompanied by coffee and milkshakes made for enjoyable breakfast. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our lunch today, couldn't book a hightea as it is the flower festival after all. I know for next year to book everything in advance. Better planing is the key, never the less we emptied our plates. I recommend Cafe Valetta.

We had trekked around the city on a recent Saturday morning and we were hungry! Time for brunch, so we stopped in at Urban Grounds and we're so glad we did! From the moment we walked in and noticed the beautiful art works on the walls, to our delicious meals which we enjoyed seated in the sun-drenched verandah ( perfect for a chilly Toowoomba winter morning), it was a top- class experience. The food was delicious and the ambience even better. The beautiful historic old house is the perfect setting for a lazy weekend brunch, and the outstanding outdoor deck would be equally lovely, I imagine, for dinner on a summer evening. This is definitely worth putting on your list.

The vegetarian burger was excellent. Halloumi and avocado, no stodgy veggie patty. Served with plenty of well seasoned chips. Not that healthy but a good hearty meal, reasonably priced. Service was fast and friendly.

Beautiful ambiance, yummy food and coffee. The service was very fast and enthusiastic too. I would definitely visit again when I am in town.
