3 Best Cafes in Tweed Heads NSW

We had lunch here. The corn fritters and a wrap, with a cappuccino. The staff were lovely and friendly and the young waitress engaged with all the customers, which is rare nowadays. The food was really fresh and tasty and generous servings. The coffee was very good as well, hot and creamy. The prices are reasonable as well. A nice place in a mall to have lunch.

We were in the area for a few days and decided to try the ginger root cafe for breakfast. We enjoyed it so much we ended up going back several times during our stay. Lovely staff, good food and the best coffee.

Tried to order a beef burger but the guy highly recommended the chicken burger, very happy that I took that recommendation. Burger was excellent and so was the coffee. The cafe looks cool and is in a great location near the water. The service was excellent as well, everyone had a great attitude and seemed happy to be there. Highly recommended.

This little hidden gem is a bit outside of town but totally worth the trip! Absolutely stunning decor with very good vibes and lovely staff. It’s very spacious so that even when it’s busy it doesn’t feel crowded. I loved their different breakfast options - especially the tofu scrambled sourdough. Great coffee too!

Local authentic cafe. This is my second time having coffee here, warm and friendly staff, a very nice atmosphere inside the cafe. I would highly suggest if you’re around the Tweed Heads. They open very early, 05:45am.

Nice Cafe with indoor and covered outdoor areas. Gabriel coffee blend which is chocolatey with a hint of caramel and quite earthy. 'Hawker rolls' on crisp flaky roti parathas make for a very tasty difference. We had 'silly sausage' and 'bacon and egg'. The sausage was a little dry and overcooked, and the amount of condensed milk and BBQ sauce on the bacon and egg was a bit overpowering but overall they were yummy. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices make for an enjoyable experience.

We stopped here for brunch after we filled our rental car at the nearby petrol station. We had excellent coffee - I drink decaf and theirs had a great flavour. We ordered the bacon and eggs and it came on a roti like thing. It was a work of art. Exquisite. There were a lot of flies inside, for some reason, and hardly any outside. We dined outside - it is comfortable and good setting. Staff are friendly and helpful. If I could find the right minister, I’d marry the place.

Surprisingly good. Looks like a small cafe but has ample well spaced eating area. Good sized menu with a range of interesting options. Food was better than I expected and the coffee was good. Top marks.
