“Dr Stefan Buchholz is a general cardiologist and specialist in cardiac diagnostic imaging. Originally from Germany, Dr Stefan resides in Eaton with his wife, Sandra. Since 2017, he has been working in Bunbury alongside Allison Morton. He completed rotations in general medicine in New South Wales and Queensland before undergoing advanced cardiology training at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Dr Stefan pursued a high-volume cardiac imaging fellowship with Professor Michael Feneley at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Clinic in Sydney, gaining extensive experience in advanced echocardiographic techniques, including perfluorocarbon echo contrast, 3D/4D imaging, stress echocardiography, and speckle tracking/strain imaging. Additionally, he trained in computed tomography (CT) coronary angiography at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA.
