“The Chocolate Mill officially opened on November 21, 2003, at 10 a.m. At 10:05, their first customer walked in. That same buyer returned for more chocolates later that day. They use only the finest Belgian couverture chocolate in all their products. Their chocolate is produced in Belgium by Callebaut, leaders in chocolate manufacturing, relied on by chefs and chocolatiers the world over. Callebaut is still one of the rare chocolate makers to select, roast, and grind cacao beans themselves, making their exclusive cocoa mass – the most important ingredient for couverture chocolate. They select only the best varieties of cocoa beans, which are roasted in their whole shell to protect the most delicate aromas and yield a more intense, more complex, and deeper cocoa flavor.”

Amazing Customer service and the best chocolate I have ever eaten!! Highly recommend the Carmel filled chocolate!! Very addictive and the selection is massive so something for everyone!! Will definitely be back when I’m in Bendigo! It’s a must see place when in the area!

Popped in for a quick and simple lunch. The service was terrific but I'm writing this review mainly bc the toast that accompanied my pumpkin soup was placed on a napkin on the plate. No toast sweat! So considerate.

CHOCOLATE MILL REVIEWS

This place is pretty secluded but it’s definitely worth checking out. The chocolates prices are a bit on the high end but they are certainly delicious. They had a wide range of different flavours. The lady that took our order was sweet and friendly. She explained their chocolate making process which was a nice touch

a lovely place to have a hot chocolate, friendly staff in the cafe and knowledgeable staff in the chocolate shop. great assortment of chocolate products and a good price.

This was a great stop. Really cool to see them make the chocolate and an amazing selection. Staff were really nice except one guy who was making the hot chocolate. He was a bit grumpy but could have been an off day. We all have them.
