“Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church provides an ethnic and religious group to fulfill the different and individual needs of the people in the community. The church was laid foundation stone in 1968 and opened in 1969. The church has a Liturgy Committee that endeavours to enhance the liturgical life of the Parish. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church provides better communication between the parish groups involved in Liturgy. Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship in the sacrament. They also have reconciliation on every Saturday at 11:30 am and 5:30 pm. The anointing of the sick is a healing ritual appropriate for physical and mental spiritual sickness.”

“Alice Springs Baptist Church is smack bang in the middle of Australia and a community passionate about Jesus. The church agreed upon in their early days to hand governance and established the independent Alice Springs Baptist Church. The Baptist Churches of South Australia is the first stage of the new Church building in East Side, which was opened in 1970. Their mission is to help parents and carers raise Godly children by providing a child-friendly environment. Alice Springs Baptist Church has mainly music for preschoolers and people. The church's Primary School-aged kids originally gathered together for games, worship, and teaching or drama.

“John Flynn Memorial Uniting Church provides a design that was a result of a national architectural competition, incorporating passive cooling and local and national symbolism. The church was opened by the Prime Minister in 1956. They are proud to be a multicultural group. The church is a part of The Flynn Trail. John Flynn Memorial Uniting Church provides a self-guided heritage tour of Alice Springs and its surroundings. The other activities of the church are Bible studies, Prison ministry, and the Op Shop. The church also has lawns, an Adelaide House, halls, and a commercial kitchen available for events and community activities.”

My landlord said while you are@ Alice Springs you should go to Catholic Church. Yeah I obey him. It is a Church with modern design that you never dreamed before. Worth to visit.

ASBC makes you feel you belong,everyone is so nice, it is such a lovely community Pastors are very helpful in developing your relationship with God. You would look forward coming to church every Sunday to hear God's word as they teach it thoroughly.

This is where I first connected with God, the lovely people and the presence of God there is amazing.
