“Dance Central is the premier dance studio that offers dance classes for students who start their dance journey with them at 2 years old, and many go on to become professional dance practitioners in their chosen fields. Dance Central trains the whole dancer, not just the body. They care about their students holistically. Their teachers are all trained professionals with many years of experience. Ms Caroline Vandersee is the studio principal. They are registered to teach the Ready Set Dance training programme, which is designed specifically to introduce young children to the world of dance. They are also registered teachers with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) for Classical Ballet, the Southern Federation of Dance (SFD) for Jazz and Tap, and the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance (CSTD) for Contemporary Dance. The school has three large, professional quality, custom-designed studios. The studio is equipped with sprung floors, covered with Tarkett, full-length mirrors and portable barres. The studios are purposely large and airy, equipping students with ample opportunity to grow their spatial awareness without reducing their movement to “make it fit”.”
