As my journey training at different locations around australia landed me in Townsville recently I was recommended Courage Training Centre. Firstly I’m glad I was recommended Courage as the facilities are top class and my only disappointment was only being in town for long enough to get one class in. Secondly, you don’t often get to see someone’s first time in a gym while travelling but there was a new student that was in for their first class the same night I was in town. The care and professionalism shown by Coach Ian and the team was top tier. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone regardless of age or experience. Can’t wait to get back up to Townsville again.

I’ve been training at courage for the last 6 months and there is not one bad thing to say about them. The gym is beautiful, big and well equipped. The staff is friendly and very well prepared. When you walk inside it’s not like any other fighting gym, here you can really feel the passion in the air and the love for the sport. More than just a group of people training together it feels like a family. A beautiful environment for everybody, whether you want to train for self defense or you want to become a professional fighter.

Having trained at courage for almost 7 years, I think? I can strongly recommend this community. The staff are knowledgeable friendly and attentive, with expertise and experience in all areas. If you are considering starting your martial arts journey, I guarantee that you will not regret joining courage. The experience that I gained at courage is second to none. Having joined as a novice, they coached me constantly and assisted me with my goals. I went to my first Muay Thai class last month, hadn’t strapped on a glove in 30 years the staff were friendly, training challenged me left totally sore and drained but felt fantastic, signed up for membership best gym in Townsville by far.

This was one of the best experiences of my life, even if your body still badly ached after every lesion. They’re community is very supportive and kind, I would seriously recommend ronin for at least 2-3 days a week, maybe more.

The team at Ronnin are awesome In the short time I have been training there it’s been a very friendly and welcoming every time I train. Everyone is eager to assist you on the journey I would highly recommend giving them a go.

Both of my children love going to their karate classes on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. Very Family friendly place, great instructors.

Perfect space for beginners or experienced martial artists. Positive discipline and guidance, while also being welcoming and friendly.

They are so accommodating and friendly, they make you feel welcome and the children really enjoy being part of this team.
