“Dr Meenakshi Raj received her MBBS degree from The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University in India. She underwent extensive training at various tertiary hospitals in India and the United Kingdom. She holds a Royal Australasian College of Physicians Fellowship and an AMC Certificate from the Australian Medical Council. In 2006, Dr Raj moved to Australia and joined The Gold Coast Hospital, where she completed her physician training. She is highly skilled in managing a wide range of neurological conditions, including headaches, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke, neuropathy, and migraines. Dr Raj also has a particular interest in movement disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease, as well as dystonia and botulinum toxin treatments. Additionally, she specialises in performing nerve conduction studies (EMG) and EEGs. Dr Raj welcomes DVA patients to her consultations.
