“Dr Charles Chabert is the director of The Prostate Clinic and Laparoscopic Urology Australia. He is a consultant urological surgeon and Assistant Professor at Bond University on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Dr Charles is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS(Ed)) and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS(Urol)). At first I was shocked, to be told I needed surgery for my prostate. After a lot of research, and talking to friends, I made an appointment to see Dr Charles Chabert. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge, his solutions, and his genuine concern for my situation. He explained the different options I had, and he advised me as to which option he thought, would give me the best outcome. I’ve still got a long way to go, but Dr Chabert has given me all the confidence I need, I couldn’t be in better hands. He is supported by a very professional team. If you’re looking for a competent Urologist, I highly recommend Dr Chabert, he’s the best there is.

I just wanted to share my experience with Dr Charles Chabert and his team. Whilst I am only a few days post op, I am so humbled by my experience from pre op consultation and planning, the operation itself, to post op follow up. A tremendously skilled and empathetic professional who provided such clarity and understanding during the entire process. I couldn't have wished for more during a very challenging time. Thankyou Charles and team.

A fantastic Dr knowledgeable and passionate about his patients and what procedures offer the best outcomes both short and long-term - robotic surgery may not yet be recognised as the best way to conduct a radical prostatectomy but my husbands recovery is living proof that Dr Chabert is the best at what he does and the advice he gives sets his patients up for success.

What a year - 12 months on from surgery for prostrate cancer with the amazing, professional surgeon Doctor Martin Elmes and his fantastic assistants Stephanie & Olivia, my husband and myself cannot be happier. He has returned to his old self - with Dr Elmes' follow up surgery of a Titan prosthesis - Laurie's words were " WOW what a feeling again!!" We cannot be more thankful for the follow up care and consideration shown by the whole team. We are one very happy couple and would definitely recommend the team at Gold Coast Urologists to anyone experiencing any problems in this area.

Dr Elmes and the girls in administration are extremely professional and supportive. Dr Elmes has been very thorough with his investigative techniques and informed myself and discussed all possibilities and his methodology behind his decisions in consultation with myself. I always felt confident and positive in my journey to date.

I had my HELOP operation back in April and I have to say Dr.Elmes did a wonderful job. Very professional, easy to talk to and explained everything in detail what the procedure was all about! Everything went really well and I am very happy with the outcome! Thank you very much Dr.Elmes!

A potentially bad journey made good by a great doctor. Not only the outcome but the whole journey, very professional, caring and informative. Not to understate the statement but you are in "good hands". Highly recommended. As a side, very informative on rugby needs some support as his team is not doing too well.

Extremely professional takes the time to explain your medical condition putting you at ease, would highly recommend Dr Smith!!!!! His staff are also excellent and very helpful, cant do enough to help you.....
