“Dr Helen Castley completed her medical education at the University of Tasmania, Australia, in 1998. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and provides exceptional treatment for movement disorders, muscular dystrophy, and spasticity. Dr Castley has a particular interest in stroke and multiple sclerosis. She is dedicated to providing the best care for her patients. She is the clinical lead for acute stroke services at the Royal Hobart Hospital, and she represents Tasmania in the Champion Network. Additionally, she is a member of the Pre-hospital Stroke Council and chairs the Tasmanian Stroke Network. Dr Castley is instrumental in implementing a statewide acute stroke and thrombolysis pathway, which includes the Victorian Stroke Telemedicine program. She focuses on data collection through the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry, specialising in rural communities.”
