Dr Andrew Castley graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2000. After completing initial training in general medicine, he achieved his Fellowship in Plastic Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2011. Returning to Tasmania in 2012, Dr Andrew Castley assumed the role of Director of the Burns Unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital. His extensive expertise encompasses all aspects of plastic surgery, focusing on skin cancer and hand surgery. Additionally, Dr Castley has a keen interest in both surgical and reconstructive breast surgery. Throughout his training and post-fellowship years, Dr Castley has acquired the necessary skills to perform various forms of reconstruction, including autologous and implant-based techniques.
