He obtained his fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Neurosurgery in 1999. Dr Brennan is renowned for performing general neurosurgery and specialises in spine tumours and pituitary conditions. He has contributed to the Neurosurgery Curriculum sub-committees that frame the structure of neurosurgical training and has participated in College Censor-in-Chief review committees. Dr Brennan has served as a board member for the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia. He maintains and develops new skills, regularly attending workshops and meetings in Australia, Europe, and North America. Dr Brennan has also been involved in national and international professional associations, including the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

My husband was operated by Dr Cherukuri five weeks ago. On his first consult with him, my husband could not walk, five weeks on and he is walking freely. no pain. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring specialist. Dr Cherukuri has a great sense of humour, which helps in relaxing and making the patient feel at ease and trusting of his expertise. My husband and I wish him all the very best, and thank him.

I had fusions of my L4/L5 and L5/S1 discs as well as bone grafts, rods and screws, and cages. I had pars defect at S1 as well as my nerve being compressed. Dr. Cherukuri was fantastic! I would recommend him to anyone!

Absolutely can’t thank Dr Cherukuri enough a truly amazing, compassionate, caring surgeon who did an amazing job can’t thank him enough. Forever grateful.

After suffering constant back pain and seizures I was referred to Dr Cherukuri. After consultation and an MRI he informed me that I needed urgent surgery, which he performed just over 6 months ago. I admit I was nervous after hearing stories of back surgery that didn't work as expected but the surgery was very successful and I'm glad that I was referred to him. Dr Cherukuri has an excellent sense of humour that I really enjoyed, some however might find it a bit dry but do not let this put you off for he is an excellent surgeon. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a neurosurgeon and if I unfortunately find myself needing back surgery again, he is the man I will go to - A J. Reply
