Dr. Stephen B. Lewis, an associate professor and neurosurgeon in Nedlands, Western Australia, conducted his studies on acute brain injury at the University of Adelaide under the guidance of Professor Peter Reilly. In 1994, he was honored with the WG Norman Research Scholarship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr. Stephen completed his neurosurgery training and received board certification from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He furthered his expertise through a fellowship in cerebrovascular and skull base neurosurgery, working in one of the most distinguished academic neurosurgical departments in the United States. His reputation extends to the domains of Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery, Skull Base and Brain Tumor Neurosurgery, Complex Lumbar and Cervical Spine, and General Neurosurgical Disorders. Dr. Stephen has successfully performed over 1500 neurosurgical vascular procedures for cerebral aneurysms. His extensive experience also encompasses adult neuro-oncology, including intricate skull base surgical approaches and craniotomies for brain tumors.
