“Dr Stephen B. Lewis studied acute brain injury with Professor Peter Reilly at the University of Adelaide. He received the WG Norman Research Scholarship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He completed his neurosurgery training and obtained board certification from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr Stephen also completed a fellowship in cerebrovascular and skull base neurosurgery and worked in one of the most prominent academic neurosurgical departments in the United States. He is renowned for performing cerebrovascular neurosurgery, skull base and brain tumour surgeries, complex lumbar and cervical spine procedures, and treating general neurosurgical disorders. He has performed over 1,500 neurosurgical vascular procedures for cerebral aneurysms. Dr Stephen has extensive experience in adult neuro-oncology, specialising in complex skull base surgical approaches and craniotomies for brain tumours. Dr Stephen B. Lewis has co-directed 15 surgical anatomy and skills courses with Professor Rhoton, educating over 500 participants worldwide. He is currently the Director of Perth Neurosurgery, a private practice specialising in cerebrovascular neurosurgery, skull base and brain tumour surgery, complex lumbar and cervical spine procedures, and general neurosurgical care.”
