Here’s The Deal:
Dr. Tiew Han is a highly trained neurosurgeon who graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1991. He underwent training in neurosurgery at Flinders Medical Centre, Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Adelaide Children’s Hospital, and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is also a naturally gifted technician specialising in all aspects of spinal surgery, including complex reconstruction and cranial neurovascular (AVM) surgery and tumour surgery. He specialises in Brachial Plexus Surgery, Craniovertebral Junction and Carotid. He has attended several courses in complex spinal surgery for degenerative spinal disease, both in the United States of America and Europe. He uses various instrumentation techniques for spinal instability. Dr. Tiew is actively involved in the training of junior surgical residents and registrars. He is also the supervisor of training for spinal surgery in the post-fellowship education and training (PFET) program. Mr Han returned to Melbourne and established his private practice in Fitzroy. He also has a public appointment at St Vincent's Hospital in Fitzroy. He is also committed to medical services for the country of Victoria and provides regular neurosurgical visits to Warrnambool and Warragul.
