“Dr Tiew Han graduated from the University of Adelaide. He underwent neurosurgical training at Flinders Medical Centre, Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Adelaide Children’s Hospital, and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Dr Tiew is a naturally gifted technician, specialising in all aspects of spinal surgery, including complex reconstruction, cranial neurovascular (AVM), and tumour surgery. He specialises in brachial plexus surgery, craniovertebral junction surgery, and carotid surgery. He has attended several courses in complex spinal surgery for degenerative spinal disease in both the United States and Europe. He uses various instrumentation techniques for spinal instability. Dr Tiew is actively training junior surgical residents and registrars and is the supervisor of the spinal surgery training in the post-fellowship education and training (PFET) program.”
