2025 Update: Bindaree Lodge have a registered nurse on site. They are a trusted, not-for-profit provider of retirement living, in-home care, residential aged care and seniors rentals. The nursing home have a 20-bed Memory Support Unit. Bindaree Lodge allows all care recipients to use their own doctor for free.”

I went to Bindaree Aged Care facility on Boyne Island Qld to have a look when it became obvious Mum needed to go into care.. Wow.. what an awesome place Mum got to pick her room and could move in anything of hers except the bed , she has a lovely little private outdoor area surrounded by tropical gardens. Bindaree is a very modern place that has many lounge areas even a baby grand piano Mum says the food is delicious, there is always something happening outings on their bus or bingo or games to get the mind thinking there is a small hair dressing salon and coffee stations in each wing where there is always biscuits or cakes available along with tea and coffee supplies Staff are wonderful.

I went to the local markets here. This is a second hand place. I always pick up a bargain or too.. The voleenter people do an amazing job sorting all the donations.

As entertainer, have been going to The Lodge over many years, We just LOVE going there!! Excellent carers & volunteers, An Op Shop is on site, parking fairly good.
