They are approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority. They design vibrant, engaging programs that reflect each child’s individual interests, needs, and strengths. Every step of the way, they help prepare children for the important transition into school.They provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. Tannum Sands Kindergarten is a community-based not-for-profit incorporated association with all profits reinvested to benefit the children and the Kindergarten Community. Katie Hansen is the co-director. Tannum Sands Kindergarten proudly offers a play-based program delivered through the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines where pre-preparatory children encounter opportunities to explore, discover, problem solve, create and experience curiosity, perseverance and risk-taking. Tannum Sands Kindergarten is proud to be affiliated with The Gowrie (Qld) as their Central Governing Body. They have evolved from a fledgling centre into an environment that is welcoming and embraces the diversity of their families. Their grounds provide a stimulating environment to develop imagination, fine and gross motor skills, learning and social skills. They feature a dedicated team of teachers supported by a committee of parent volunteers.

C&K Waratah Crescent Community Kindergarten offers an open and natural learning environment where children can explore, investigate, and expand their understanding.
