Highly recommend this store if you’re buying glasses. All the staff are so lovely and so extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I’d rate this place 100 stars if I could! As someone who is very new to wearing glasses, I made a mistake ordering a pair online trying to save myself time “don’t do that lol”. So ever since I discovered Oscar Wylee I won’t be shopping anywhere else! Such affordable prices with wonderful, helpful and friendly staff! If your like me and the whole experience of owning glasses and wearing glasses is very new and overwhelming to you, don’t shop online, don’t go down a Google rabbit hole trying to find answers… just go to Oscar Wylee! Staff are extremely patient and understanding, they’ll go above and beyond to be as helpful as possible and with such excellent customer service they will gladly answer any questions you may have. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Hannah assisted me after I selected my frames. She understood my hesitation in purchasing glasses given I’ve worn contact lenses for almost 30years. She was able to reassure me given the 30 day guarantee, provided advice on thinning of the lenses to make the glasses lighter in weight and we had a few laughs in the process. I will happily return to this store and have her assist me in the future. Thank you.

I have been getting my glasses from specsavers since the complex opened in Bendigo. The young gent who helped me this time was patient particularly when my communication difficulties made things tricky. He new what to suggest out of the glasses I'd picked which that it made me feel excited about my new glasses. Thanks Orrin Couldn't be happier.

Had an eye test with Daniel Thomson the optometrist. Excellent service, efficient, easy. He explained everything as we were going along through the appointment. He then handed me over to Alicia who helped me select reading glasses and sunglasses frames. Again attentive and offered great advice. Wayne came to assist at one point to ensure measurements were correct for my transition lenses an added an old school measurement technique. All in all great place to go for your specs.

I initially came here to see an optometrist as I was experiencing an eye infection a couple of months back and came in today to update my contact lenses prescription. I have seen Daniel both times and his service is brilliant and he is very thorough in his examination to make sure you get the right treatment as well as prescription. I highly recommend OPSM on Queen street.
