“Dr Ashish Gupta completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Kasturba Medical College Manipal, India, one of the top medical schools in India. He commenced working in Queensland, completed his orthopaedic specialist training there, and was awarded a Fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013. He is a subspecialist shoulder surgeon practicing at Greenslopes Private and Mater Public Hospitals. Dr. Gupta’s practice is solely focused on treating patients with shoulder problems, making him one of the few surgeons in Australia dedicated entirely to shoulder surgery. Dr Gupta is the Founder and Director of the Queensland Unit for Advanced Surgical Research (QUASR), a dedicated basic science shoulder unit, and the Shoulder Surgery Queensland Research Institute (SSQRI), a dedicated clinical shoulder research unit. He is also the Co-Director of the Brisbane Shoulder Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty Fellowship, which trains orthopaedic surgeons in the subspecialty of shoulder surgery.”
