Oddies Creek Park is a maintained destination for kids' play, attracting more than 200,000 visitors annually. The park is the first large open space area crossing the Murray River from Victoria. Oddies Creek Park is famous for its ample adventure play space, catering for all ages and abilities, and a surrounding leash-free area. Oddies Creek Park has many exciting play features, including a 30-metre flying fox, a giant bird's nest swing, a complex climbing net, and other swings. There are two timber structures: one large, five-metre-high structure offering wheelchair-accessible ramps with various activities. The smaller timber structure caters for younger children and includes slides, climbers, rockers, and a sand pit.

2025 Update: Oddies Creek Park is dog-friendly and features a drinking fountain, play equipment, picnic area, and barbecue.

Noreuil Park Foreshore has picnic tables, mature shade trees, and large expanses of grass. The park is one of the region's favourite spots to enjoy quality time with family and friends. There is also a fenced children's playground, barbecues, a nearby café, and ample parking spaces. There is plenty of space to sit, relax, and watch the river water pass by. Noreuil Park Foreshore is a hub of activity, particularly in the warmer months. This is an excellent destination at the end of the Bungambrawatha Bike Trail. Noreuil Park Foreshore offers an excellent leisurely walk from South Albury to the Botanical Gardens, featuring nicely manicured pathways with parks and facilities along the route.

Hovell Tree Park is a large riverside park with a playground, barbecue, and open grassed area. The park is centrally located between the Albury Sports Ground, Albury Swim Centre and Noreuil Park Foreshore. The park hosts several regular events, including community bakes at the Farmer's Markets and Wood Fired Oven. Hovell Tree Park has fitness equipment, large open fields for sports, drinking fountains, and indoor and outdoor event conducting areas. The park has recreational activities.

2025 Update: Hovell Tree Park facilities include public toilets, Changing Places, a private bathroom and a height-adjustable adult-sized change table.
