“Oddies Creek Park is a maintained destination for kids' play, attracting more than 200,000 visitors annually. The park is the first large open space area crossing the Murray River from Victoria. Oddies Creek Park is famous for its ample adventure play space, catering for all ages and abilities, and a surrounding leash-free area. Oddies Creek Park has many exciting play features, including a 30-metre flying fox, a giant bird's nest swing, a complex climbing net, and other swings. There are two timber structures: one large, five-metre-high structure offering wheelchair-accessible ramps with various activities. The smaller timber structure caters for younger children and includes slides, climbers, rockers, and a sand pit.

2025 Update: Oddies Creek Park is dog-friendly and features a drinking fountain, play equipment, picnic area, and barbecue.”

“Noreuil Park Foreshore has picnic tables, mature shade trees, and large expanses of grass. The park is one of the region's favourite spots to enjoy quality time with family and friends. There is also a fenced children's playground, barbecues, a nearby café, and ample parking spaces. There is plenty of space to sit, relax, and watch the river water pass by. Noreuil Park Foreshore is a hub of activity, particularly in the warmer months. This is an excellent destination at the end of the Bungambrawatha Bike Trail. Noreuil Park Foreshore offers an excellent leisurely walk from South Albury to the Botanical Gardens, featuring nicely manicured pathways with parks and facilities along the route.

“Hovell Tree Park is a large riverside park with a playground, barbecue, and open grassed area. The park is centrally located between the Albury Sports Ground, Albury Swim Centre and Noreuil Park Foreshore. The park hosts several regular events, including community bakes at the Farmer's Markets and Wood Fired Oven. Hovell Tree Park has fitness equipment, large open fields for sports, drinking fountains, and indoor and outdoor event conducting areas. The park has recreational activities.

2025 Update: Hovell Tree Park facilities include public toilets, Changing Places, a private bathroom and a height-adjustable adult-sized change table.”

ODDIES CREEK PARK REVIEWS

Great park, this section of the park called the Oddies Creek park has more action for the kids. They will just love this playground with plenty of fun apparatus & activities available. Oddies Creek park is also located right beside Noreuil Park foreshore, along the banks of Murray River. There are facilities for bbq, picnic, canoeing, fishing, walking etc. Plenty of parking and clean wash rooms are available along with a Cafe for the visitors convenience.

Beautiful place for both kids and pets. Everything and adventure playground should be and the open grassed area with trees and lake is beautiful to walk around with your pet. My daughter and dog truly live the best life here when we visited.

Wonderful park! It's huge my son loves coming here however we need more shade, it's coming into summer and half the equipment was too hot for him to get on. We will need to be at the park as early as possible but it is a great trip!

NOREUIL PARK FORESHORE REVIEWS

If you’re in Albury and have some spare time, make sure you take a walk along the Murray river. A good leisurely walk is from South Albury all the way up to the Botanical Gardens. Late in the day as the sun is setting is particularly beautiful. Nicely manicured pathway with parks and facilities along the route.

Great place for a swim and a paddle in the Murray River. Cafe available from 9am to 3pm. Lovely setting with loads of picnic areas. Barbecues available

HOVELL TREE PARK REVIEWS

Lovely park and walk to take my son on. Plenty of paths and things to see. The sun is always shining (except in bloody winter) and it's regularly my favourite place to go for a walk. Great place to go Pokemon go hunting too if your still into that sort of thing (I am!) The grass is always green, everyone is friendly and you'll never not see kids having a good time. A great view of the Murry as you stroll around too. Good clean environment with the river deck cafe just a short walk away! Plenty of shade and places to sit and have a picnic with the family too. All round great place to go.

Gorgeous area to relax. It’s right next to the river with a few cafes and an outdoor gym nearby. The area is very clean. There is also a playground for the little ones and a BBQ area for cooking as well.

Great place to sit and relax with the family. There are council gas BBQs around as well that can be used for a small cost. And plenty of shade as well.
